The digital exhibition EXTENDED will bring Sougwen Chung’s series Body Machine (Meridians) to Košice!
BODY MACHINE (MERIDIANS) is a series of biomimetic robotic speculations, sculpted in air, that reimagines machines as extensions of living systems. The concept of the Meridian is woven throughout the work, referring both to planetary measurements and to energetic pathways within the human body. Through this dual meaning, the artist invites viewers to reflect on bodies — bodies in motion, mechanic forms, and the Earth’s biomes — exploring how these three might interweave.
