International Meeting for Creative and Cultural Economy 2021

The International Meeting of Creative and Cultural Economy (EIECC) organized in Cali, Columbia celebrates the International Year of Creative Economy for Sustainable Development. The event reflected on the economic dimension of culture as one of the crucial pillars for sustainable development and presented the creative economy strategy that has been built in Cali.

During four days, the representatives from six countries meet at the Cinematheque of the La Tertulia Museum, to address the approaches from which the creative economy is built, its limits and scope, the tensions between dystopia and hope for the future at a time of the pandemic, social crisis, and uncertainty, but also the expectations, findings, and possibilities around what is conceived as cultural management, associativity, creativity and innovation in the cultural ecosystem and creative industries in Cali and other areas of the world.
