The coordination team of the Media Arts sub-network of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network has new leadership

At the 17th Annual Conference of the UNESCO Creative Cities held in Enghien-les-Bains on June 23 and 24, the coordination team of the Media Arts subnetwork underwent a transition.

After 12 years of dedicated leadership by Dominique Roland (director of the Centre des Arts in Enghien-les-Bains, artistic director of the International Digital Arts Biennial, Bains Numériques, and Deputy General Manager for Digital Innovation and Development of the City of Enghien-les-Bains.) — to whom all the network and partners thank and acknowledge for his commitment and legacy — the new coordination team will now consist of Joana Miranda (General and Executive Coordinator of Braga Media Arts, PT), Laura Odegaard (Cultural Investment Programme Manager of the City of Austin’s Department of Economic Development, USA), and Daniela Burkhardt (Executive Coordinator UNESCO Creative City of Media Arts Karlsruhe, GER).

The renewal of the coordination team expects a new chapter of collaboration, creativity, and shared vision for the future of the network and, in particular, for the field of Media Arts.
