Winner of City to City 2021 exhibited at French festival

“Blur”, the winning project of the 2021 edition of City to City, was exhibited at the French festival Nexso – Es Nouvelles Experiences Sonores, this saturday. The piece was developed by artists Jorge Ramos, Julien Gaillac and Anna Kim, from the three UNESCO Creative Cities for Media Arts of Braga, Enghien-les-Bains and Gwangju, respectively.

The Nexso festival took place on 29 July in Billom, France. Based on science, technology, poetry, video and digital art, the initiative aims to promote music and new technologies, particularly in rural areas, and to develop exchanges between local, national and international artists.

This collaboration resulted from the City to City creative support initiative aimed at artists from member cities of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network for Media Arts and with the objective of developing new artistic works conceived remotely.
