Edigma Semibreve Award – Open Call for Submissions
The Edigma Semibreve Award is dedicated to celebrating and advancing the creation of works that explore the intersections of interactivity, sound, and image through digital technologies. Through an open call, the International Festival of Exploratory Music and Digital Arts invites submissions of original projects that thoughtfully integrate artistic expression with technological innovation. The selected winner will have their work presented as part of the festival’s 2026 edition. The submission deadline is 28 June.
In its short existence, Semibreve has built a formidable reputation for being one of the most exciting annual events on the international exploratory music and digital arts calendar.
In previous editions, Semibreve presented unique collaborations by some of the most revered electronic music artists from around the world, while also featuring a program of new works produced in the field of digital art.
The 16th edition will once again feature the Semibreve Award sponsored by Edigma, a Portuguese company that leads in the development of interactive experiences, queue management, and digital signage projects.This award is established to celebrate and promote the creation of installation works that explore sound and image, supported through the use of digital technologies.
The winner will have their work exhibited during the 2026 edition of the festival.
